Like every year, the pilot quiz of BQC season 8 will be the Norwegian open quiz, organised by the guys at Norges Quizforbund and hosted by the BQC in Mumbai. The first points for the BQC championship (also known as "the race for second place") will be up for grabs this Saturday. Oslo, this quiz is held almost simultaneously all around the globe so you get to pit your wits against people worldwide. The timing couldn't be better, the Europeans wont venture out in knee deep snow for a quiz, so make sure you don't miss it.
Please bring a pen/pencil along.

When: 3 PM, Saturday, 6th April, 2013 (Please be there by 2:45 pm.
Where: Pinstorm, Ground Floor, Swati House (Next to Kotak Bank on Linking Road), North Avenue, Santa Cruz (W).
Since it is a written quiz, we will need to know the number of attendees beforehand in order to print answer sheets. Please register here. Only registered participants, and maybe a handful others, will be allowed to attempt the quiz. But don't risk it, register, its free.

Anyways, how to register for the BQC C'ship and other quizzes conducted by the BQC?

check this blog for updates. Quizzes are usually on alternate sundays and the blog is updated 3-4 days before the quiz. Just walk over to a quiz on a sunday and we'll give you all the information there. No registration required for coming to the quiz. The next quiz will probably be on 21st April.
