MQF 2015 lineup.

All the Quizzes at MQF 2015.

A total prize money of INR 1,10,000 is on offer. here are the details -

Mumbai Local - The MQF General Knowledge Quiz (8th Feb, Sunday, 3 pm
(Full length quiz for teams of 3)
1st Prize - Rs. 9,000
2nd Prize - Rs. 7,500
3rd Prize - Rs. 6,000
4th & 5th Prize - Rs. 1,500
6th, 7th & 8th Prize - Rs. 1,200

Shivaji Park - The MQF Sports Quiz (7th Feb, Saturday, 9:30 a.m)
The Rangbhavan Experience  - The MQF Entertainment Quiz (7th Feb, Saturday, 3:30 p.m.)
Linking Road to Carter Road - The MQF Travel Quiz (8th Feb, Sunday, 9:00 a.m)

Short length Written quizzes for teams of 2
1st Prize: Rs. 3,600
2nd Prize: Rs. 2.400
3rd Prize: Rs. 1,200
(Total: Rs. 14,400)
What this means:
If you win all the quizzes (unlikely but suppose you do) and you split the money equitably with your team mates, you can get Rs 12,600 over two days of quizzing.
Or take the other extreme. You make it to the final of all the four quizzes but you finish 4th. You get Rs 1,200. That will cover your Uber cab fare to and fro. Or a 30 ml shot of Johnny Walker at The Jewel of India across the corridor. Or 3 khambas of Old Monk from the nearest wine shop at Worli Naka. That's how awesome our quizzes are. Like the finest single malt or dark rum around.

Directions to the venue - 

The location of the Mumbai Quiz Festival is the auditorium in Hall of Harmony at the Nehru Science Center on Annie Besant Road in Worli, Mumbai.
-- If you're coming from Santacruz domestic airport directly, take a taxi to the venue in Worli. The Bandra-Worli sea link will cut your journey of about 35 mins by half (however, you will have to pay a toll of Rs 55)
-- From the outstation railway stations at Dadar, Bandra, Kurla or CST, take a taxi to the venue in Worli, Mumbai.
-- If you're taking the city trains, the closest station is Mahalaxmi on the Western Railway line. Take a cab from there to the venue in Worli, Mumbai.
In all cases, ONLY pay by meter - Bombaywallahs will not pay one buck more than needed. (Please note: Auto-rickshaws DO NOT operate in South Mumbai where the venue is)
